Trail 42 is closed due to fire activity. Ron and Bradley found out only now, and are working to contact everyone who confirmed interest in this run.

Important Notice: Due to wildfire activity, the east side of the St. Clair OHV Permit Zone is closed to entry at this time, including from FR205, FR19, and FR 495. The following access points are also closed: Kentuck Staging, Coral Access, Indian Spring Staging, Sunrise Ridge Access, and the Telegraph Line Trail Entrance & exit.
Original Description
Trail 42 is always interesting. The challenge on this trail comes almost entirely from the many off-camber and high-articulation spots.
We’ve never done it at night, but it should be fun!
Requirements
- Tonto National Forest OHV Permit
- Normal required gear
- Rear locker advised
- Recovery equipment
- flashlights and other adequate lighting for a nighttime run
